Eva Maria is a visual artist and fashion designer from Bruges who first launched at ‘The Box concept’ in Bruges.
Eva Maria doesn’t just view her work as fashion, she views it as moods. She aims to create happiness through her vibrant feminine pieces of art that double up as clothes. She finds inspiration in her “trouvailles” which are leftovers, or pre-consumer luxury textiles, that have crossed her path somewhere along the way. Her circular fashion model is a testament to the saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”.
Eva Maria designs at her own pace away from the hustle and bustle of the seasons in fashion. She embraces slow fashion and the freedom it gives her to design and make when the inspiration hits. She seeks to create timeless, durable, unique pieces that celebrate and appreciate female diversity. She also makes a few gender-neutral pieces to be loved by all.
