As part of Circular Economy Week, EcoGents is organising the 200 KG Men’s Clothing Challenge in Tilburg.
From 19 to 27 March, we are calling on the people of Tilburg to give their smart men’s clothing that they no longer wear a second life. Almost everyone has a jacket, shirt or coat hanging in their wardrobe that is actually still too good to throw away, but is simply no longer worn.
With this campaign, we aim to collect 200 kilos of men’s clothing together and thus save clothes from ending up in landfill. Think of jackets, shirts, jumpers, coats, jeans and ties.
Second-hand clothing has a huge impact: if we reach our target, it could save thousands of kilos of CO₂ and millions of litres of water. Throughout this week, we will be keeping track of how many kilos of men’s clothing Tilburg manages to save each day, both in-store, on social media and on our website.
Everyone is welcome to join in and contribute to a more circular clothing industry.
Together, let’s give clothes a second life.
